I dont want to sound suspicious... But at a time when the first trimester is so touch-and-go (will the baby stick? will I get my period after testing positive?), moms can be very anxious. The community forum is the perfect place to find support and solidarity amongst women. My only issue is that SO MANY women post about miscarriages and losing their baby (multiple times)... at the same time as posting a picture of their positive pregnancy tests!! I think that this forum is a wonderful place for women to find support in each other... Including those topics.... But for those mama-to-bes who are very anxious about their baby "sticking", sometimes just reading about, or even merely hearing the word "miscarriage" is enough to make them anxious! I cant go through one post without coming across people talking about it. My only wish for this otherwise PERFECT app, is that developers offer consumers an option to filter all words, such as "miscarriage" "lost it" "not viable", etc. (to either block them or relocate them to a different section of the community... that way, most women, who just want to read to help them feel connected and supported but not anxious, can benefit from this app feature too... With that being said, the reminders are amazing, so is the ability to log your symptoms, keep a keep a photo journal, read articles and information and have pop-up factoids every time to report a symptom (which are great at reducing anxiety). If you link with your partner and report being upset, for example, they would get a message on their phone encouraging them to show some TLC! That made me cry - it was so sweet! Finally, I also love the day-by-day updates, explaining what is going on with my body as my pregnancy progresses. I also love the ability to keep a journal (it has fantastic prompts - which is the only reason why I dont keep traditional journals!! This journal helps me be focused and concise and I can even add pictures). The only thing I would fix about the journals component is, if developers can create a way for users to edit the order of their entries. If you make more than one in the same day, you have to make sure you do it in a logical way. I didnt because I was new to the app. I answered the prompts out-of-order... So the journal progression seems a bit awkward. That is all!!
So much information for a first time mom and so easy to use :) I started off with glow now Im following the journey with glow nature, best wishes to all future moms
Its a good app for tracking all your pregnancy symptoms daily. They have informative articles everyday and a community as well. The community is nice but needs a few policy tweeks, but other than that it is a good app.
Great information and very supportive group of ladys. I love this app.

This is a must-have pregnancy app! Its so informative and easy to use!

Some bad moments

I used this app during my pregnancy only bc it was where I had first started tracking and saving info. Not bad for that but most of the articles and advice they give are whack. Most of them are misleading or outdated, and usually linked to a pregnancy day that the info comes too little too late. The community is ok, but comments seem to be by the same people all the time and they also have a very young base so if you are looking for maturity, this isnt the place. There are exceptions and I didnt delete this app so its not all bad. But I would recommend trying another app.
Very disappointed that the update to this app eliminated all of the stuff I used to read every day. Now it is the bare minimum, and I can get this information from the Ovia app which is actually more informative and has a more helpful and efficient set up. Looks like Glow is getting deleted. Not a clever move.
On this app daily articles are posted. Some of these are simple and hard to mess up, but others contain medical advice and medications they think they can tell you to take or to not take. 9 times out of 10 theyre wrong, as if they should be posting that information anyway. Second, the community is full of immaturity and judgment. Certain posts will be taken down by moderators because theyre in the wrong section, but others full of hate and politics (also in the wrong section) are left to cause problems, even after reported. Lastly, Ive been trying to get my account deleted for the last 4 days and put in 3 requests. Not only should I be able to delete my own account, but if they make this rule, then they should delete when requested. In the end, it gets one star because of all the problems it caused while I was using it and when I was trying to get away from it.
Unless you are paying, Im not sure what this app is for. They notify me to to keep logging because the more I log, the more helpful they can be, but Ive not seen anything after 6ish weeks. I am also not keen on the forums-I want vetted info from professionals. So, for free, its nothing but a diary of sorts.
Icons "poll, post, photo" are extremely annoying when they appear while scrolling the community. Argh
Have loved Glow Nurture since transitioning to it from the normal Glow app! Since the last update, however, it has been unbearably slow and glitch!! Can take 10-15 min just to read a couple of the updates and log my day... This used to only take 2-3 min but each time I return to one of the main pages, they take FOREVER to load!
